Iran Targets U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Fires Dozens of Missiles at Israel

On the third day of U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran, both sides have claimed responsibility for destructive attacks against each other.

According to reports, Iran, during the 10th phase of its “True Promise” (Wadeh Sadeq) operations, launched drone strikes on the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia and ballistic missiles at Israel’s capital, Tel Aviv, as well as several other cities.

While Iran is threatening retaliatory strikes on U.S. military bases in Arab countries and targeting Israel, at the same time, its Foreign Minister dismissed the current U.S. stance toward Tehran as not reflecting the will of the American people and described it as part of Israel’s policies in the region.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi said:
“Mr. Rubio has acknowledged what we all understand. The U.S. is involved in a war favored by Israel, and Iran posed no threat to them. Therefore, those responsible for the bloodshed of both Americans and Iranians are the ones prioritizing Israel’s demands. Americans deserve a better life. They should take control of their country.”

The U.S. has suspended daily operations at its embassies in several Middle Eastern countries and Pakistan, advising staff to remain in safe areas.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump once again warned that Iran would face a severe response for its attacks on the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia.

Trump said Iran would never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons and that the U.S. would destroy facilities used for uranium enrichment. He added:
“Let me put it very simply: they cannot have nuclear weapons. If they have nuclear weapons, there will be no peace in the Middle East. We do not want any uranium enrichment — we will not accept it. If they attempt to rebuild their nuclear program, we will be forced once again to eliminate it.”

Regarding the joint U.S.-Israeli operations against Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said a regime change in Iran would end the threats Tel Aviv considers serious for itself and its allies.

Netanyahu made these remarks after inspecting the destruction caused by Iranian missiles in Tel Aviv. He added:
“The terrorist regime in Tehran targets civilians, and we fight against this regime to protect civilians. We are involved in this war to remove current regional threats and free Iranians from a tyrannical regime. A day is coming when the U.S. and Israel will have a presence there.”

Netanyahu’s claims of oppressive governance in Iran come after U.S. and Israeli joint strikes on 28 February targeted a girls’ school in Minab, Hormozgan province, killing over 160 female students and injuring dozens more.

It remains unclear how many casualties have resulted from U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran so far, but some Iranian media reported that on 3 March, U.S. and Israeli aircraft again conducted airstrikes on Tehran and Mashhad, causing casualties among civilians.
