The Wall Street Journal reported, according to the Greek authorities, two Pakistanis wanted to carry out an armed attack on a restaurant owned by Israelis and Jews.
Greek officials said the assailants have been captured alive before the attack and their plan have been thwarted.
These assailants wanted to kill innocent citizens and threaten the security of the country, but they were arrested before reaching their goal, said Greek police
They added the arrestees had planned to recruit more members and carry out other major attacks, but police destroyed the network.
On the other hand, Israel said that its intelligence assisted the Greek police and claimed that the attack was planned by Iran.
Pakistan and Iran have not yet reacted in this regard.
