Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar: Afghanistan Seeks No Harm to Others and Will Accept None

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the 17th cohort of Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah (RA) Defense University and the National Military Academy, senior government officials addressed political and military issues.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said during the ceremony that the Islamic Emirate believes in international engagement and prioritizes maintaining good relations with various countries in order to prove itself on the global stage.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar emphasized mutual respect among countries to safeguard national interests, adding that, contrary to what he called “false policies,” Afghanistan has harmed no one.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs stated:
“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan believes in regional and international cooperation within the framework of an economy-centered policy. We are committed to having appropriate engagement with every country within our principles. To protect long-term political and economic interests, it is necessary for countries to respect each other’s values and sensitive boundaries. The policy of the Islamic Emirate is not deceptive, and today’s Afghanistan has built its policies on institutions whose foundation is Islamic Sharia and whose spirit derives from it. Afghanistan neither seeks to harm anyone nor accepts harm from anyone. If someone harbors ill intentions toward us, we will not leave such actions unanswered.”

Beyond politics, some officials focused on military issues, saying the current army has been trained on national and Islamic values and will not allow any individual or country to commit aggression against Afghanistan.

The head of the National Examination Authority, Abdul Baqi Haqqani, said:
“Countries that have a committed and capable national army can protect their borders, ideology, people, and faith. It is a source of pride that, for the first time in Afghanistan’s history, we have a thoughtful and committed army.”

Interior Ministry spokesperson Abdul Mateen Qani said:
“We are prepared and steadfast in defending Muslim lands, the values of jihad, and the material and spiritual values of the Muslim Ummah.”

Other officials described the Islamic Emirate as a unified framework for governance and said civilian authorities are committed to further strengthening the national army under this framework.

They added that to achieve this goal, the national army will be equipped with advanced tools and transformed into a modern force.

The Minister of Borders, Tribes, and Ethnic Affairs, Noorullah Noori, said:
“If our foundation remains as it is now, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will become an empire of its time.”

Defense Ministry spokesperson Enayatullah Khwarazmi said:
“Once again, we assure countries in the region and the world that Afghan soil will not be used against any country. We will not allow any group, individual, or institution to use our territory against others.”

A total of 60 cadets graduated from the 17th cohort of the Defense University and National Military Academy in various fields. Senior officials of the Islamic Emirate emphasized the proper equipping of the armed forces and reiterated assurances that Afghan soil will not be used against other countries.
