Chargée d’Affaires a.i. and Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to Afghanistan, Raffaella Iodice held a meeting with Fazel Karim Fazel, the head of Shamshad Radio and Television Network and OMAR (Organization for Mine Clearance and Afghan Rehabilitation) on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
Iodice said in the meeting that the European Union stands by its commitments to the Afghans, and continues to provide humanitarian assistance.
She added that there are many opportunities to change lifestyle and the current situation in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Fazel Karim Fazel thanked the European Union for the continuation of humanitarian assistance to the Afghans and requested that the world should not leave the Afghans alone.
Rafaela Iodice visited OMAR mine clearance organization’s museum and expressed her hope that Afghans will work for a prosperous Afghanistan.
