The National Statistics and Information Agency issued a press release saying, that the Badakhshan Statistics and Information Department collected about 17 million Afghanis from the distribution of 22,000 electronic and 104,000 paper ID cards last year and handed them over to the state treasury.
Meanwhile, Hafiz Habib Rahman Osmani, head of Department of Statistics and Information of Badakhshan said that more than 300 applicants visit the ID distribution branches every day.
According to Osmani, related agencies are active in the capital and all districts of Badakhshan and last year they provided reformation services in paper IDs to nearly 7,300 people and other related services to more than 9,000 people.
