Wide reactions have been shown to the armed attack on the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul on Friday “11th of Lindi 1401”.
This armed attack took place from a building near the embassy and a guard of the ambassador inside the embassy was injured.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack and demanded a serious investigation.
Sharif added: “I strongly condemn the attack on the head of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in Kabul and I praise the security guard who saved Obaid’s military life.” I demand an investigation into this horrific attack and an investigation against the assailant.”
The United Nations Security Council condemned this attack in a press release and called on all parties to protect the security of the diplomats of the member states of the United Nations.
The charge office of the American Embassy in Afghanistan, in addition to the urgent investigation of the incident and the Iranian embassy’s condemnation, expressed the desire to prevent similar incidents and called on the caretaker government to improve the security of the embassies.
A part of the United Nations Security Council’s newsletter: “All members of the United Nations Security Council strongly condemn the attack on the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul and call for the immediate recovery of the injured.” The members of the council call on all parties involved to protect the security of the embassies, consulates and diplomats of the UN member states.
US Chargé d’affaires for Afghanistan Kiran Decker says: “I am saddened by the attack on my diplomatic colleague in Kabul. I am happy that Obaid Nizamani is healthy and I pray for the health of his security guard who was injured. I request an urgent and transparent investigation of this incident.
Iran Embassy in Kabul: “We strongly condemn the armed attack on the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul. We hope that the caretaker government of Afghanistan will take concrete steps to prevent such terrorist incidents and ensure the security of diplomatic places as much as possible.
After the incident, Afghan and Pakistani officials condemned the attack in a telephone conversation and assured Kabul Islamabad of finding the perpetrators of the attack and preventing similar incidents in the future.
Former President Hamid Karzai also condemned this attack and called the peaceful and civilized relations between the two neighboring countries for the benefit of the peace and stability of both countries and the region.
A number of political analysts say that such attacks harm Afghanistan’s international trust and call them the work of those intelligence agencies who do not want a stable Afghanistan.
After the attack, some news were published that the Pakistani embassy has expelled its ambassador and a number of diplomats from Afghanistan, but the foreign minister of the country has confirmed in a telephone conversation with his Afghan counterpart, Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi, that this Such incidents cannot damage the relations between Islamabad and Kabul.
Kabul Security Command says that the Pakistan Embassy in Karta Parwan area was shot from a building and the security forces have captured one suspect and two small arms in the clearance operation.
