According to Iranian media reports, six members of an Afghan family were killed in a U.S. missile strike on District 13 of Rey city, south of Tehran.
Reports indicate that, in addition to the Afghan victims, four Iranian civilians also lost their lives in the attack.
According to the Fars News Agency, earlier attacks by Israel and the United States on Iran had also killed two Afghan nationals: one named Sikandar Rahimi in Khuzestan, and another named Kowsar Adeli in the Khairabad area of Varamin. Their bodies were buried in Iran.
Given the intensity of U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran and the reported civilian casualties, it is likely that more Afghan citizens have been affected. However, no confirmed detailed information has been released so far.
The Afghan Embassy in Tehran has not yet commented on the recent killing of the six Afghan nationals.
