Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi said that 120 Afghans are stuck in the conflict in Sudan and efforts are underway to evacuate them.
Muttaqi made the remarks at a public gathering in the Southeastern Province of Khost, but he did not say the trapped Afghans are students or diplomats.
There has been a clash between two generals of the country’s military forces and Rapid Support Forces since the last few days in Sudan.
According to the World Health Organization, more than 400 people have been killed and more than 3,500 others have been wounded so far in this conflict.
