The Ministry of Information and Culture says that, in view of the significant increase in the arrival of foreign tourists to the country, plans are underway to expand the tourism sector nationwide and provide more facilities for tourists.
According to the ministry’s information, around 2.3 million domestic and foreign tourists visited the country’s recreational areas and natural attractions during the Eid al-Fitr holidays alone. This figure shows a significant increase compared to previous years.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Information and Culture, Khubab Ghufran, said that the large number of tourists visiting the country’s recreational areas and attractions reflects the growth and strengthening of tourism in the country.
Ghufran added: “During the Eid al-Fitr holidays, around 2.3 million domestic and foreign tourists visited the country’s recreational areas and natural attractions. These figures show a notable increase compared to previous years and reflect the growth and strengthening of tourism. The Ministry of Information and Culture is working to expand and strengthen the tourism sector nationwide and provide more facilities for tourists.”
He also emphasized environmental protection, cleanliness of public spaces, and the preservation of tourist sites, urging public cooperation. He added that tourists can safely travel to all parts of the country with the cooperation of security agencies.
