The United Nations Children’s Fund in Afghanistan (UNICEF) said on Twitter that it has supported 675 health facilities in nine provinces of Afghanistan in the first three months of 2023.
UNICEF added that more than five million people have benefited from the services of these health facilities.
UNICEF had previously warned that with the arrival of summer heat, the cases of acute diarrhea will increase and if not treated, the patient’s life will be threatened.
According to UNICEF, medical kits are being prepared in health centers to prevent the disease and treat 137,000 people.
