Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai discussed various issues in a meeting with Japan’s Ambassador Takashi Okada in Kabul on Wednesday May 03, 2023.
Karzai’s press office issued a press release saying that discussions were touched regarding the current situation of Afghanistan in the meeting.
The press release stated that in addition to the reopening of schools and universities for Afghan girls and the return of women to their jobs was stressed and expectations from the Doha meeting were expressed in the meeting.
The initiating of national dialogue immediately and the continuation of the international efforts were emphasized for the figuring out of the problems and the augmenting of permanent peace and stability in Afghanistan.
