Since the beginning of the IE’s rule, the dispute with the international community has continued over women and girls’ rights and many other issues.
Recently, a member of the European Parliament, Hannah Neueman, criticized that the IE is not committed to Afghan women’s rights and has deprived them of their rights.
Newman added: “The Taliban have launched new attacks against women and education. Since a year and a half that they came to power, women have been banned from all aspects of life. There is no education; no going to the park, no employment and their last decree is that women are no longer allowed to work in United Nations entities. The Taliban are sacrificing the lives of more than one million Afghans who are facing hunger with their recent decisions.”
This member of the European Parliament requested that Afghans should not be forgotten and assistance should be extended to the affected ones.
Meanwhile, Neueman has suggested not to even thinking about the recognition of the Interim Government of the IE.
She added: “I know that there is no easy answer or simple solution for the problem, but this is something that we cannot ignore it. We have to watch very carefully what is going on in Afghanistan but we should not even think about the recognition of the Taliban.”
This is not the first time that such statements have been made related to Afghanistan.
On the other hand, some political analysts believed that foreigners have their own political goals in Afghanistan, so they do not want to discuss the issue of recognition of the current Interim Government of Afghanistan.
Although the recognition of the IE has been mostly discussed recently, analysts are of the opinion that until the international demands for the employment and education of Afghan women and girls are not accepted, the IE will not be recognized soon.
