The UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said in a tweet that with the start of the new educational year this week, more than one million Afghan girls will not be allowed to go to school.
UNAMA has asked the IE to end all discriminatory policies against Afghan women and girls.
UNAMA said, these policies not only kill the aspirations of half of the Afghan population, but also cause great damage to Afghanistan.
On the other hand, the UN Children’s Fund in Afghanistan also said that the authorities should reopen schools for all students so that they can continue their social life, acquire skills and also do academic studies.
