Demonstrations in support of Mehsa Amini, who was killed, are still going on in Iran for the past 50 days.
21-year-old Mahsa Amini died in the hospital after being arrested and tortured by the police for not observing hijab in the Kurdistan province of Iran.
The protests turned violent from the first day and the Iranian Human Rights Organization recently said that 304 protesters were killed in the protests.
The said organization said that the protestors will not rest until the Islamic State is overthrown.
According to the organization, the government, headed by the brothers, cannot do anything other than violence.
Also, this organization has called on the international community to stop this oppression and violence.
The organization added: “50 days after the beginning of the protests, more than 304 protestors have been killed so far. Iranians continue to protest with a greater determination than ever to bring about fundamental changes. The government’s response is then only violence. The international community should support the right of independence of the people of Iran and stop the government from killing and oppressing them.”
The Iranian Human Rights Organization said that 41 children, including girls, were among the dead, three of whom are Afghans.
The organization added: “So far, 304 people, including 41 children, have been killed by the security forces in protests across the country. Among the 41 children, 9 are girls and three are Afghan children.
Although the identity of these children or documents that can be used to determine their exact age have not been received yet, efforts are being made by the Iranian Human Rights Organization to record their correct age.
On the other hand, it is said that the number of those killed is even higher, that most of them were killed in Sistan, Balochistan, Mazandaran and Tehran, and dozens of security forces are also included.
International humanitarian organizations and countries have also announced their support for the protesters seeking justice for Mehsa Amini in Iran, and recently US President Biden has said that Iran will be freed soon.
